Enter the world of the iconic Oscar- and Emmy Award-winning makeup artist, Ve Neill, as she sets out to inspire creativity and a love of makeup,  as she shares her knowledge and experience from 30+ years in the industry. Whether you are just beginning to explore the world of film and television makeup artistry or are already a working pro, this is a once in a life time learning opportunity you have been longing to find.

In the inaugural course in the Series, The Fundamentals of Corrective Beauty and Character Creation, students will have unprecedented access to Ve Neill herself in a professional setting.  Over the course of two days, students will experience what its like to be a back ground makeup artist on a major motion picture, like The Hunger Games or Pirates of the Caribbean while learning through practical hands on experience with professional products.  This course will cover an array of makeup techniques, beginning with classic corrective and beauty makeup and advancing to designing a character, and how to create a character breakdown.

 Students will be provided with professional makeup product from our sponsors, hand picked by Ve Neill to fill out their kit.  Students will also be provided with a waterslide tattoo, a pros-aide transfer, and a silicone prosthetic for their use in creating their characters made by Dreamline Effects INC, Motion Picture FX Company, and MEL Products.  Students of this course will build the skills they need in their careers as a professional makeup artist.

In addition students will also receive;

  • The opportunity to network with other artists
  • Certificate of completion signed by Ve Neill
  • An 8 x 10 professional photo of  their completed makeups from each day

Students will be responsible for providing their own male and female models and a basic makeup kit. Detailed requirements available upon registration.

The Ve Neill Master Class Series is designed to take students of all levels of experience on a journey to mastery. The Series will initially offer courses in the fundamentals before progressing to courses that offer insight into advanced topics such as facial hair application, advanced prosthetics, old age, and more.
